Been using it for a hour, so far, so good.

A bit of warning to previous version users, your plugins may not work until new tweaks are updated for v3.

    It's fast though.

Any feedback on which is better to use, the new firefox or seamonkey?

My family is using seamonkey on their computers, and it works well, but takes a long time to load.

I just updated to Firefox 3, and now MSN.com and only MSN.com (my home page) will not load. It begins to load and then crashes. Everything else seems to be working fine. Is anyone else experiencing this same problem?

    Cody,

Tried the restart and it loaded up until the blue screen background (before it remained white) and then sent me to the Mozilla crash screen. Very interesting.

I installed it over FFox2 with Adblock, and a couple of others, and it's fine so far. I opened all tabs together, and it was very quick. I deleted the leftmost tab that had the detailed history. Too much info as posted earlier.

This is a bit odd: FF3 censors MBBL's posts. How advanced is that!:D

Tried installing this yesterday and it locked up my system so badly, I couldn't even move the mouse or click!

    I'm sticking with IE6.

Do you get a message that says "A runtime error has occurred. Do you want to debug?"

In addition, the system tries to play a notification sound but it keeps repeating/stuttering and BOTH the keyboard and mouse become unresponsive.

The server might be busy? I guess they are about ready to break a world record for downloads in a 24hr time period.

Borat wanted to know. I think it's interesting to see how many users there are in areas that you might not expect. Iran was a surprise. . . North Korea wasn't (blackout).

I just d/l'd and installed it in about 4 minutes, tops. It IS faster. I was seriously thinking about switching to a new browser since FF was so slow and laggy for me. But 3.0 is just awesome so far!

    Thanks for the heads up!

Nah, it's got to have something to do with their software. Maybe it doesn't run well on older systems?

Works fine on mine, too, and it installed really fast. But I agree in that the "history" thing is a little weird. I'm gonna have to see if there is a way to use the standard one.

No runtime error, it just will not load. I have even dropped the door on Norton. Hmmmmm.
Finally done - some images do not load as fast as IE. Overall, it is faster.

So far, I'm loving it. Everything seems quicker. The only problem I've had so far is my anti-virus, Trend Micro, has been a little buggy tonight. But that could be totally unrelated.

Maybe it's my antivirus, which is Norton. Reason being I was able to install it on another PC fine without any problems. That PC didn't have Norton, but I think I will install an antivirus sometime in the near future.

It's always a good idea to disable antivirus during software installs (unless of course you don't really trust what you are installing). Also, I needed to re-register the Firefox executable on my fathers PC with Kaspersky 7.0, as it kept complaining the binary has changed - again an issue with the antivirus, and not the browser itself.

I currently have FF3 running on 3 PCs w/o any issues.
