Tiger Amazing Again

The 3rd round play today by Tiger Woods at the US Open was nothing short of spectacular. The eagle at 13, the chip-in birdie at 17 and then another eagle at 18 - WOW. And all of this with very evident signs of excruciating pain in his left knee. The birdie chip at 17 was probably the best shot I have ever seen. Even Tiger was amazed. Good luck tomorrow Tiger in the final round. Man I love watching him play golf.

They way he's playing right now reminds more more of his early years - lots of bad shots but enough crazy good shots to make up for it in the end.

He did the same thing yesterday afternoon as well, his last hour was spectacular.

I don't know if his knee will hold out to take the win tomorrow, and his play right now is anything but consistent, but I'll be hoping he wins and it sure is fun to watch

If he was "on" he would be leading by ten strokes...............Tiger has to lose half his health just to even out the field.

I still think that Tiger's chip on 17 in (I think) the U.S. Open a couple of years ago was the best golf shot I've ever seen.

There's been times in the past when I've rooted against Tiger; I'm hoping he wins the Open big time this year.

His tee time is in about an hour, so I better get my spot set up in front of the TV.

When he came on the tour 10 years ago, I played golf with alot of good golfers that scoffed at his play as just another flash in the pan. Today, with all of his accomplishments, if they still dish their hate on him, I see it more as a statement of their lacks, not his.

    He truly is special........

    Wow, what an amazing day.

I can't believe they're going to play a full 18 holes again tomorrow...

Does anyone know if there's anywhere I can catch the action tomorrow online?

Great finish, birdie by Woods after hitting in to a fairway bunker to tie it.

He is a great golfer, but he sounds sooo nerdy in interviews. Plus, I feel like the Tiger Woods card is over-played.

Oh, he most definitely is! He's a great golf player, but he's waaaay over-hyped and has a bad attitude and a filthy mouth. I enjoy seeing him make some great shots (as he just about always does), but I really can't get into pulling for him.

Tiger was not great today. He had a great finish but overall he was average (for tiger) at best. Rocco played the better golf game today. He was under more pressure, and he played the coarse at even par.

Oh and I swear if I ever go to a golf tourney an I hear that effing bozo next to me scream "get in the hole" on a 500+ yard par five, I will straight kick that guy in the nuts. Eff him and eff everyone else that screams that. It is now officially old! Effing jackoffs.

Hahaha, ok, you got me there. That's a good point. However, if I'm thinking about the right person, he's a LOT more laid back and amiable than Tiger ever is, despite his problems!

Daley's an oversized baby.......I think it was just recently that he gave up on a tournament and was putting with his wedges.......

He can hit the big ball, but all his off (and on-) course drama that he can't stop ultimately ruined his career.....
