No audio system = less enjoyment

I packed up my audio system over two months ago to move and it will be at least another month until I get it back. Man does it suck. I'm to the point of needing a fix. I'm starting to totally forget the experience of having a band play for me at will. I think I will appreciate it more than I used to once I get set up again.

i know its tough. I hate going to watch in tv in my bedroom because theres nothing in there... just think about how much more you will appreciate your system when it comes back!

I haven't had any speakers for about 2 months & I'm going through withdrawals too. Saving up for a pair but nada until then!

    Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

I envy you guys who have more than one pair.

Don't feel bad, max. I listened to some tunes tonight and it sounded like **** that hadn't been wiped thoroughly. I haven't changed anything lately. Damn.

Decent headphones powered by a discman may help. What gear are you running for the next set up? I think you said you got the Avantgardes, right? Your system is going to explode (in a good way, of course :))

If you weren't so far away I'd lend you a pair. My SRS 2 are just wrapped up in plastic in my parent's basement.

Thanks anyway! I'd sure take you up on the kind offer!

Hopefully, it won't be long until I'm back in action.

Headphones would have been good. I packed them for some stupid reason. I guess I could get another pair. The new system will have the horns, vinyl and all the manley equipment. Should sound great in the right room!

I had to pack up my gear for about 2 months when we moved. Setting up the system again was one of my top priorities when we bought our new house, so I feel your pain...

Setting up my system will be priority number one for sure. I'll be happy to sleep on the floor and not be able to find my fork if that gets my system set up quicker. I'm serious.

You would be surprised how much it means when you find you have no place to sit, no where to lay down and no silverware to pick out the food in a can that you can't open because you have no can opener... :) Then again, maybe you do. In any case, audio is MUCH more important!

Dude, a chair and a system is the LAST thing moved, and FIRST thing setup during any move. Even if just for tunes during the unpacking. Even if it's a moderate, or downright cheesy rig.

That's funny you mention that Russman. I am the same exact way. Last and first. I guess for some, the priorities are set in stone.

True that. Unpacking and moving is so much easier if you have music.
