Signal cable is great wire that is terminated, and custom lengths are available. Frank has a great reputation, and makes a great product. If you want real cheap you can get 14ga wire in the auto section at WalMart. The stuff in electronics is over priced, and not as good. Monster is way to pricey for its performance.

I started with the RM10 package myself and have about the same room size as yours. I used 14g speaker wire (from Radio Shack). The wire rolls didn't cost much and I'm happy with the sound I have now.

BTW, I later upgraded my fronts to RM 201's. I'm really happy I did that. That's what the center speaker of the RM10 package is. If you upgrade your fronts by replacing the RM101's you've set yourself up for a 7.1 system. ;)

I'd just use 12g speaker wire from RadioShack, Home Depot, etc.

    Welcome to Club Polk!!!!!
I used 14ga stranded speaker wire from the local hardware store. It was about .50cents/foot and it made a big difference over the 18ga.
The rears required 50' of cable to get to the back of the 12'deep room.

Welcome to the forum. 14g seems to work well, but can be a little inflexible depending on installation. If that's true, just jump down to 16g.

I used 16 gauge from Monoprice for a similar distance and the sound is excellent.
