Hi, I just purchased two MM2124's and I need to know what the driver displacement is both top and bottom mounted, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Aaronbang

    Hello,
Welcome to the Forum. I'm assuming you are looking for the mounting depth. If so, top mount is 6 9/16" and bottom is 7". I found this under the specs section of their web site page.
    Cheers, Jed

Thanks Jed, but what I'm looking for is the amount of airspace taken up by the speaker when it's mounted in a box. I emailed cust. service a week ago and still haven't got a reply, I was hoping someone here had already been through this, they list the specs for the SR124 but I can't find the specs for the MM2124 anywhere on the site.

    Hello,
Polk's main car audio guy is Kim Jasper, send him an email message to: kjasper@polkaudio.com.
I do know that all of their sub box plans have already take the displacement into account. But, Kim will be able to answer your questions.
    Cheers, Jed

Thanks again Jed, I think I figured it out from the sealed box plans, I subtracted the target volume from the suggested dimensions and came up with 179 cu. in. for the driver volume.
Thanks for the link to Kim.
