Received 2 RM30s and they are behaving differently

I just received 2 RM30s for surrounds and noticed that either 1) the receiver was clipping the signal on the right speaker or 2) there was an issue with the speaker. The right was at a higher volume as it is further away so I thought that was the issue as to why there was a difference between the two. It was on generic parts when it would get louder during commercials etc. I decided test out a low frequency tone test cd around 300Hz to 80Hz (80Hz being the crossover on the receiver for the surrounds).

I reset the volume to be equal to both speakers.

I found that the right speaker put the lower tones out primarily to the bottom driver
I found that the left speaker put the lower tones out primarily to the top driver

I found that the right speaker had a certain volume where the tone would jump a few octaves higher. This was on 200Hz-250Hz test tone. I did not push the left speaker to this point but if they were behaving the same it should have done the same.

I have checked the wiring to make sure the polarity was hooked up correctly and it matches.
