Nothing I can do about the tile. (ick ) Can't do a carpet or rug because the only thing that would go there would be white or off white and it would be black in a week so I just left it alone. I was gonna do an upholstered bench at the fot of the bed but the budget choked that idea. I went a lot over as it is.

Looks very nice Darla. A decent upgrade that would not be a budget buster (well, would be for their old budget but maybe not the next one) would be a pergo or "floating" floor. Would require pulling the baseboard and putting it back down, but can be laid right over the existing tile without damaging it.

I am picturing a bamboo floor for some reason....

I actually don't mind the look of that tile.:o

I don't believe a pergo floor would be considered an "upgrade", maybe a solid bamboo floor would, but tile flooring is nice and mostly maintenance free. All that matters is that the owner's are happy with it, otherwise area rugs would be a cost effective option. Looks very nice Darla, good job!

I was thinking upgrade as changing the look of the floor without ripping up the old one. (should have been more clear)
