HK AVR110-No power

I have an HK AVR110 that has been out of comission for a while now. When I had it hooked up I came home one day and noticed the "standby" light was off. I looked at it and it would not power up. It was plugged into a good surge protector and all of my other components were fine. The warranty has long expired and I was wondering what I might check to get it working again. If not, what is the average charge for an electronic repair store to look at it? Thanks for any help.

Better checking in at HK's site.

I already tried their website and called their customer service #, but they weren't any help. They just said to take it to a HK service center, but the nearest service center is over a 100 mi. away. I just thought I'd ask the question here.Sony 46" Bravia XBR4

Have you checked the fuses?
This thread might help a little:

Thanks a lot. I had done a quick search, but didn't come up with what I was looking for. I guess I'll open the receiver tonight and check it out. I hope it's just a fuse, because I'd like to get this thing working again.Sony 46" Bravia XBR4

Well, I replaced five different fuses in the receiver, but still no power. Any other suggestions? I will be calling around town tomorrow to see how much it will cost to have it repaired.Sony 46" Bravia XBR4
