Y'all want to read a SCARY book about the potential of China, checkout "Invasion", by Eric L. Harry. If their army is 1/10th the size as it is in the book, then it's STILL 12x larger than ours.

Invasion? How would they get here? On rafts?

    ...and they need them.
Tens of thousands dead, nearly 5 million people homeless.
    A terrible tragedy.

Honda got a license to make Isuzu Rodeo...
Do I see a resemblence between one car and an Isuzu? Just like Honda did with the Rodeo?

I've seen the fake Honda CR-V with my own eyes. Near Gunagzhou, China, the fake CR-V's "manufacturer" actually advertises "its product" on a giant billboard next to.....you guessed it.....a Honda CR-V billboard. It was reported several years back in "Car & Driver" that Honda was suing for millions of $$$.

Honda didn't get a license to make anything. They bought Rodeos and rebadged them as Passports. Isuzu made the Passport for Honda on the same line as the Rodeo and Amigo. There was very little difference between a Rodeo and a Passport. Essentially, badging and some cosmetic changes were about it.

Isuzu also gave Honda Troopers to be sold as the Acura SLX. In return, Honda provided Isuzu with Civics rebadged as Isuzu Gemini's and Honda Odysseys as the Isuzu Oasis. Both were Japanese market only cars.

Why would they do that. They just could BUY the whole damn country.
Cheaper than an army. And we would sell it to them, too.

China is a fascinating country. The rich history of thousands of years, the great figures and warlords, the beautiful scenery and the women! A country as old as China has so much to learn from. Unfortunately with the adoption of a government system not many countries want or fear ( ahem U.S ) has caused so much grief. Ethical and unethical issues of today, is merely a spotlight that the media shines on China. There are plenty of companies in America that are quite shameful as well, the only difference, China is in the spotlight right now.

However, politics all aside, if anyone knew anything about the rich culture and history of China, it is hard to not be impressed. American history through its entirety could not cover a small percentage of China's.

Piracy? Who does not own a self made audio cd? Hell, if i could make a living in accordance to the law, I would do it to! It would be the small boys against the big monikers, but that is just me though.

China today. The recent earthquake is what I think about. It is very sad. Something of that magnitude, I do not take race, government system, scandals or anything else as part of judgement. I could relate to their pain. 1995 OKC disaster with timothy mcveigh, and the 1999 F5/F6 tornado. I could only imagine their feelings of scare and hurt.
