A New Guru Among You

Listen up, you rat ****!! 'Cause I'm only gonna say this once....

Now that I have elevated my consciousness to GURU status, here’s what you can expect from me:

1. more audio snobbery just like my fellow gurus
2. a lot more useless posts in order to acquire over 10K posts
3. aggressive renegade behavior ‘cause now I’m above the “law” (i.e., Polk forum rules of conduct)
4. less interaction with the newbs

In return, I only expect one thing from you: total loyalty and obedience to the Early B. brand of bullst*t. If I say it, so shall it be. Amen.

You are dismissed.
HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50” LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

Now would be the time to start studying the Polk product line so you can act the part.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Interesting thought, but it appears that a very large percentage of people here don't even own any Polk products. This has always seemed very odd to me.

In my eternal quest for truth, I moved beyond Polk products long ago. Those speakers are for the masses, and since a Guru has achieved enlightenment, he has risen above the desires of the common man.
