SDA-2A Speakers Blown?

Hi,
I have a pair of SDA-2A speakers that I have owned since they were new. I have noticed recently that the sounds seems to be relatively distorted, with no high-end coming out of the left speaker.
Is it possible to repair these speakers? I love the SDAs and haven't found anything that I would consider a replacement for under 20K
Thanks,
Robert

yes everything in those speakers is replaceable/repairable if you aren't getting any highs.. first check any fuses on the rear.. if there are no fuses, then your tweeter may be bad.
unplug the tweeter and remove it from the speaker. then using speaker wire, at a low volume touch the speaker wires to the leads on the tweeter and see how it sounds. you'll know if it's bad or good right away.
