Anyone not get there tax stimulus check yet????

I fall in the may 2, to may 16, category for direct deposit and I still haven't got it?:confused:

My dad is this category and got his weeks ago.


I'm just curious if others in this category that were eligible have not gotten there direct deposit either.

    I didn't get mine....but that's because my mom filed me as a dependant. So no tax stimulus for me even though I'm the most likely to spend it on something I don't need :)

    Did you make over $75k? Was your tax refund sent direct deposit or through the mail?

    I was in the first group and didn't get mine until the last possible second, so I wouldn't worry until Saturday morning rolls around and you still don't have it...

    I should have got mine May 9th direct deposit, no funds yet???

    I got mine on the 9th (Friday) and already spent it paying off a Credit Card. :D

    I guess I'll wait to the last second to see if I get it.

    I am eligable... I didn't make anything close to 75k last year and I don't owe any taxes.

    I also did direct deposit the turbo tax online this year. So I should be good for the direct deposit stimulus check.

    I probably wouldnt have gotten one if I had been working ( Be over the damn limit...and that limit aint **** here in CA...at 75K if you were single you would be regular working folk...not rich by ANY means ) ....but being off work for 2/3's of 07 they felt gracious and direct deposited me 600 bones.

    If you filed with Turbo Tax and selected to have the direct deposit processing fees deducted from your return amount, then you will not be getting a direct deposited rebate. You will instead receive a check via mail per the distribution schedule for checks.

    Yeah I just found this out. I picked this option by mistake this year, and now I will not get my check until after July. I am so pissed at myself right now. Cannot wait until I inform my wife about this.:eek:

    I got mine this morning.

    $438.00.....:mad: What the crap. I don't understand...

    Did I not make enough?

    Did I owe taxes I didn't know about?

    I guess I shouldn't be mad but I was counting on the whole $600.00.

    Oh well. I least I got what I got.

    I have not recieved mine yet. Since I had to pay taxes, I obviously did not use direct deposit. My penalty for paying promptly on Feb 2nd, is that my check will not arrive until July.

    Don't qualify - made too much $$$. I don't agree with the 'cutoff' - we all pay taxes, so why not qualify everyone?

    Statistics show the lower income bracket you're in the more likely you'll just spend it. They want the stimulus to go back into the economy so it wouldn't make sense for them to give it to people who make above a certain amount.

    I agree I think if they give any money back everyone who pays taxes should get a certain amount but the stimulus is meant to go back into the economy. I know many of us are going to save it / put it away but most of the people receiving a stimulus check will spend it and that's what they want.
