Hi all,

In anticipacion to getting my new amp, I went and bought an SPL metter at radio shack, it is the analog version since many people say it is the way to go.
Checking the SPL, I found that it has 2 setting for the weighting; an A setting that measures frequencies in the 500 - 10Khz, the C scale would measure from 32 - 10Khz but uniformaly.

My question is any frequencies between 10Khz - 22khz as most speakers will do, are not as harmfull as the lower Freq.

How to properly use the SPL meter?

I would like for this thread to be very educational for future members to reference ... if possible.
