I'm just going to part out my RT10's:(. No drivers, but I have 4 tweeters. 2 of them are new. Please e-mail for more info and prices.

    Dave
Numerous e-mails and still no response:(:(. Man the internet is wonderfull. Nobody has a phone any more. Even if I get any response from this guy I wonder how any transaction would be?? Needless to say I would be nervous. Just sucks because I can't find the replacement drivers I need. Might have to bone these RT10's out:mad:.

I would like some communication with this individual.

Who crapped in your wheaties today?
As you can see from his feedback he hasn't had any issues with his sales to be concern about. Also I have dealt with him and picked my items up at his home. He's good people. Perhaps he just has better things to do.

Have you tried calling Polk to see if they have the drivers you require?

By the way, posting your email addy and phone numbers in a public, google indexed forum was not a oood idea. If you have any concern you should request that a moderator remove those items from your post.

I'm curious how did you send him any emails if you don't know his email address?
I don't understand the comment about no phone--This isn't craigslist.

Lastly, you did two other things wrong-which is frowned upon by the forum members.
1.) You posted your own sale in another's FS thread.
2.) You apparently sidestepped the Forum rules about the minimum # of posts before being able to post a sale.

I'm sure we can all get along;). I figured this would cause an issue and for that I do appolagise. As far as his e-mail, he posted it on one of the many pages of people trying to buy his stuff. As far as me listing my info, it isn't a big deal to me. I put the info out there for him, thinking it might be easier for him to email or call me personally--guess not. I have contacted Polk for a few years, infact again today, and the drivers will never be made again. I have been on thier waiting list over the years and still no drivers for me:(.

I understand your concern about posting in his thread and for that I will delete it or get it deleted. Just sucks that I can't list them myself until I have 25 posts:(. Today was bad day for me and I just went overboard on this post, so I hope you don't have a day like I did over this:rolleyes:.

If you know the guy why wouldnt you have him check his post or at least have you relpy for him?

As a coutesy, I did send him an email (not sure if its the same email addy you found), but I have had technical issues with sending him emails in the past-it seems they get lost in never never land. The only emails that actually got through were via a Craigslist email addy oddly enough- of course they only last as long as the ad thats posted so I can use that anymore.I just attributed it to the fact that I have my own email server running at my house and Verizon grey listed all their home IPs.

As far as babysitting his FS posts, well frankly that's not my job, but we'll just leave that there. ;)

Keep in mind, its not that he's not responding to your posts, he hasn't logged into this site since March 25th, so until he logs in , he's not going to know he has inquiries. Sorry.

But, anyway Welcome to Club Polk, and cheer up  Get your mad on at Polk instead for not making any more of the drivers you need.

Why would you get mad at Polk? They have supported long discontinued speakers for a very long time, and wait, still do. Not every loudspeaker is a winner.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I am not mad at anybody and surely not Polk. I have used tons of their product over then years and will continue to do so. There has been some changes within Polk and unfortunately the MW8002 drivers were part of the change.

    Guys
I feel the need to explain exactly why I haven't been around just so you can understand.

My mother passed away the day after Christmas, I lost my job the first week of January and at the same time started my own business, which took a few months to get up and running, Oh and a stomach ulcer. Let's see three kids, mother's estate, lot's of things to do... well you get the point.
For only the past couple of months I have been able to breath.
Again I am sorry, but Polk speakers have been last on the list of things and I hope that I didn't cause anyone to get into heated discussions.

Thanks, not making excuses, just explaining. :)
The bright spot is having my own business. Doing pretty much what I did and making more than I was. I really cannot complain about that. It's just so very hard to find that 6 months have passed so quickly. It was a perfect storm of crisis. Thanks again for the thoughts. :)
