Trent just loves giving this stuff away:

I just signed up and am awaiting the link for my free digital copy. 24/96 WAV files, I am pretty excited.

1.2 gb for the 24/96! Everything above the mp3s is via torrent, so I'll be doing that @ home.

Listening to the mp3''s right now & it's a big step up from Ghosts.

Nevermind I just got the link. Takes ~2 mins to download the V0 LAME MP3s, ~ 10 mins to dl the FLAC.

So how is everyone planning on burning their 24/96 files to listen to it on their systems? Surely you aren't planning on listening to 24/96 music on your crappy computer speakers?

I had a hell of a time getting it done, but eventually found what I would call a "hack job" around it because I couldn't burn it directly with Nero. If anyone has any good suggestions, let me know.

On the other hand, if no one else knows how to do it, let ME know and I'll tell you how I got it burned onto a DVD-R.

I'm offended, it sounds quite nice on my Rothschildes. As for playing it in the main rig, my squeezebox seems to handle it just fine. Not sure what to do if you have a cdp, haven't had to worry about that in quite some time. And yes so far it sounds quite nice, Ghosts was not my thing.

V, they should change this place to Club Gallo, its inevitable.

    Got it to work.

I hope it's lying about taking a week to download though, lol.

I have too much love for this forum and respect the hell out of Polk. But I would love to see more Gallo areas on other sites. The biggest I found is the AVR thread, and that is too small.

Same here. Had to go w/ FLAC to burn a CD but I'd love to have 24/96 on some CD's.
