REL T2 Subwoofer - Cherry - 9/10 - *SOLD*

This subwoofer has about 10 hours total on it. I picked it up to finally hear the T series but I never had a real use for it. I have no permanent 2CH speakers right now, so the subwoofer just by itself, doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I have to eat crow in the fact that I really didn't think that there was a difference between a musical subwoofer and a HT subwoofer. There is a clear difference. It's mainly a no-brainer due to the design but the REL is very fast, tight and more easily integrated than a larger subwoofer like an SVS for example. I had a PB10 and my Ultra2 for onsite comparison.

When I go back to Magnepan, I believe I'll go with a REL T1 for lower octave support. This T2 has been alot of fun to play with and I'm sold on the lineup. This subwoofer hits in the 26hz range which is pretty damn good for a "small" subwoofer.

The finish is Cherry, the frame is Piano Gloss black and it comes with original everything. You can get a custom Neutrik SpeakOn cable from Signal Cable that's pretty trick. It has a VERY light scratch on the top that I don't recall doing but it exists. I'll knock a couple dollars off for that but it's not a big issue and the price is a killer deal as is.

I have no experience with this newer line of Rel sub's but I have tons of experience with all there older models. Rel is one of the very best music first subs I have ever heard.

Man even without hearing this model , if I needed a nice small sub, I would buy this. With 10 hours on it, it's only going to sound better.

    Man this should go fast.

Congrats Trey. I looked at that myself. If I ever buy another sub for music it will be a REL. I sold my other one and they are great for music. A total seamless integration.

Congrats...I auditioned that sub at an audio shop here in town. It can hit hard, but still remains very musical.
