    I got mine today but it was only $337.00 ???

    Thats correct, if you make over $75k/year, they gradually start reducing the amount you get back.

    i heard some people with tax abatements on their homes,will not get all 600.
    don`t know for sure tho

    People in this country are starving, dying, and losing their jobs and their homes. . . some turdstick in the Whitehouse thinks 600$ is supposed to be the cure. Another brilliant idea from the worst disaster of an administration that this country has ever seen.

    I'd rather have someone in The White House sending tax money back than someone bringing back the 70% bracket (someone has already promised to do the latter if elected).

    I just think it's BS that since I had a good year I don't get a rebate like everyone else. Like what, I can't use $600 or whatever? I worked my **** off last year and should get paid like everyone else.

    C'mon. Don't you know that if you work harder you get punished for it? If you make more money, that you are an evil bad guy? Why work harder when you can just sit around and get a check?

    As Darla said, that's the reality of being on W-2 and makes more than the income threshold, by IRS rule. But, would you rather be a giver or a taker? :o

    C'mon Darla, that's a bit much. I don't just sit around doing nothing. I work as well, I might not risk my life like you do but work is work. I know I don't even come close to making your salary, nor should I. But I can use that 600.00. Between that & my tax refund it will cover the cost of a major bill I just got.

    I learned very early that it is NOT worth working overtime since I lose most of it to taxes. I'd much rather have my time off to recharge my batteries to do it all over again on Monday.

    It was not meant as a personal attack on anyone in particular. I am just comenting that ,in general, if you make more you are taxed more which discourages people from working harder. I have friends that try not to do more work on purpose so they don't hit that next bracket. It just goes against my grain. That's all. Anyhoo, I would rather have made the income that I did and lose out on the extra $200 some odd bucks .:D
