Isn't it swell? It's like having something returned to you after it was stolen. I think I'll use it to pay my taxes.

I was going to buy my plasma TV but since I just bought a house I think Ill actually do something smart for the first time in my life and put it in a savings account. I dont have one now and the $1200 for me and my wife would make a house payment. I have to admit that having an extra house payment earning interest in a savings account for a rainy day makes me breath easier. Cant call the landlord when something tears up anymore.

I was going to bank it, but I THINK I'm gonna get 2 Outlaw monoblocks for my 60's.
They've been disconnected for 2 months cause the 30's sound better on my avr.
    The 60's need moah powah!

Dude, way to go. Don't stop their either. Get a minimum of 3 months saved up and things will look really rosy.

I thought I was supposed to get my rebate this week, but I guess not. They must be using my wife's SSN. I should get $2100 of my own money back.

Depends on the last 2 digits of your SS#.

Something along the lines of 00-20 should have got it by today, 21-70 will received it by the 9th, and 71-99 will get it by the 16th.

I'm glad some of you are getting your own money back. I haven't really looked into it because I won't get it, and I don't wan't to be a buzzkill, but isn't it an advance on what you would get back next year?

So, if you usually get 2K back, you would only get 1.4K for 2008 tax year. ?

About the same here, but since I'm married and my wife makes a lot less, lots of refunds, and the rebate. I don't care what people say but I rather get the refund than pay more come tax time. That hundred or two extra on paycheck doesn't really matter much but getting a large sum at once is nice.

Yep, that covers about a week of daycare, I'll just let him pay for it himself. What else would a 10 month old buy? :)
