I haven't played it since the 64, but its a tried and true game. Should be awesome again.

I love Mario Kart, I have it on 64, and it was the main reason i picked up a gamecube when it first came out....Can't wait for the wii.

I loved the 64 version. Its actually the reason I went and bought one from a little hole in the wall game store about two years ago. Dont have a wii, but it seems like it would be weird. I haven't had excellent luck with the sensor thing on wii's.Update: Once again allowed on polk forums from work! New job yaaaay. Well sorta.

You can use the classic controller, Wii remote & nunchuck or get another wheel. IMO the wheel sucks. To hard to control. I love the Wii Remote and nunchuck.

I bought a couple of wheels so that I'd have one for each remote, but it's definately not a necessity to enjoy the game.
FWIW: I like the wheel.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -

I agree, I always found me self turning the wheel back and forth. Maybe I played SMK and MK64 so much, I am used to the regular controller.
My biggest complaint is the weapons though. MK was never 100% fair, but this game starting to turn into mario party games, its becoming more luck then skill.AVR: H/K AVR240

The wheel is ok, but I just use the classic controller. Game is fun, but I haven't played it much so my brother is always beating me in it.
