Surroundbar/PWS 10 problem with Onkyo 705

I just got my surroundbar and pws10 subwoofer today. I connected them to my Onkyo SR705 receiver using the wire provided with the surroundbar. Plugged everything in and started it up. Volume at 35 (on 0-100). Great sound for about five minutes. Then I got a pop and my receiver shut off to stand by mode. I can turn the receiver on and it kicks off again if the cable box (wired via HDMI to the receiver is on). If I set subwoofer to no, I get sound, but can't get anything from the PWS10.

Help!!!!

Check your wiring, it sounds like a short.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I checked all the wiring and there was a frayed section in the subwoofer cable. I replaced it and it sounds perfect. Thanks for the help :)
