I love those inductors. I have used a few, and the added bass is very nice.
    Enjoy!

Really enjoying.. I ended up using high density 1/8" thick x 1/4" high density foam tape weatherstrip to reseal all drivers. Two strips around each speaker. Orgasmic!

Can really tell the difference in low resistance on that iron core inductor.

Not to thread hijack, but what are the saw "score-cuts" in the panels for? I'm assuming that they are possibly for changing/reducing panel resonance. The pic above clearly shows the saw "score-cuts" in the panels. My SDA's have the cuts, by my monitors don't.

Probably to save on wood. No really, I have no idea, maybe they got a good deal on the material hehe.. maybe someone else will chime in on this. All I know is I didn't want and mounting bracket screws going into that slot! Peace...

Very nice work domesda2b! I like how you put everything on a new mount. New inductors is interesting. I never had the initiative to try it. Maybe too much fear of the unknown. It looks like you re-sealed the perimeter with glue. Is that Liquid Nails or what?

    Welcome to club Polk!:)

Apparently it's a factories attempt at a hot melt glue gasket.. Ok, my right sda speakers passive sub is weaker than the left. I replaced made up new tweeter seal, sealed binding posts and connect cable socket. Still not as strong as right! makes me wonder if a factory hot melt glue seam is bad? Interesting question. No I did not put that glue around the inside! I'm going to take everything out of the box wires and things and then dump a gallon of something or other inside and shake it around. Hmm does one of those giant size warehouse clubs sell giant packs of hot melt glue? But where would I find a gun big enough I'd have to cook it outside in a pot or on the stove and pour it in...:D

Ok I think I fingered out the mystery of the weak right channel passive sub. I had the green and blue wires switched on the right 6511 driver. Ooops I did a.. Happens to the best of us. Sounds much better now:)
