    I wouldn't call it an incomplete game. For forty dollars I am confident I will be getting my moneys worth with 60 cars and 6 or so complete tracks with different variations. Going to be sweet when I pick it up on Thursday along with my amp!

    Looks sweet. I hope it has all the course challenges and such that the previous versions had. I wonder if leaving those out is what makes it a prologue?

    It isn't what's left out, it's what they have so far. I can't wait for the full Gran Turismo 5 next year with the full track list and car list.

    They do this for every GT game. IGN's Review gave it 8.5/10 so there must be more then enough content to justify the $40.

    Yea, sorry Todd. I was a day early on this post. I guess I'll be stopping by BB after work today to pick it up.

    I'm definitely not downing it. I think I'll be getting my $'s worth, but I do have some friends that are hesitant to pick it up, and then spend another 60 next year on the full version. I figure for a years worth of play, I might as well.

    I get the feeling between this and GTA4, I'll be busy for a while...

    Gamestop had it today. I have it now. Raced a few tracks with a VW GTI and the physics were dead-on. The interior car view is killer. I was pleased to find that they integrated the dualshock rumble really well, too. You can "feel" the surface, even when you aren't in the gravel :)

    Man this is sweeeeeet. Can't get the online update to finish downloading, so I gave up and started my career. Got the Honda Integra; great first car.

    I was inches away from picking up a rumble pack controller as well, but didn't want to turn a 45$ visit into a 100$ visit...Soon enough.

    I was having the same problem as you jflail. My update kept giving me an error. Just keep trying, it will work eventually. It saves its progress (the bar doesn't show it but it does) so you can keep trying and get a little bit closer to finnishing everytime.

    I beat my way through B and A class yeasterday night. I love this game. Its going to take FOREVER to get that F1 car. 2 million credits is very hard to get. Plus I need to buy cars to compeate in the events first.

    Grabed it last night went with the integ. Just did 2 or 3 races very nice. Do they have rumble and 6 axis controlers out ? Or can you only get rumble?

    The new dual shock 3 controllers have the same 6 axis motion controls as the old controlers plus rumble.

    Yea, I figured everybody and his brother was trying to get the update last night. I'll hopefully get it tonight, although to make things more difficult, a friend is sending me a free copy of RB6 Vegas 2 today....

    Saved up and got the fatty Nissan last night. I am exhausted but ready to race some more :)

    Yes, but there is an auto matchmaking system right now so you can't choose who your racing against. They have said this will be updated to include an option for privite rooms so you can play with friends, but I have no idea when.

    I've been woking my way up the classes. I got 9/10 gold in C class and 9/10 gold in B class. Still working on A... Does anyone else find that it's impossible to get gold in the Capaccino time trial and Evo IX time trial? I tried quite a few times and came nowhere near the gold time limit.

    Surprisingly Amazon shipped it on time and I got it yesterday. So far have gotten 2 golds in class C and struggling for the 3rd one on Sozuka track. I am new GT and have only played GT HD concepts before. I think i need to practice all tracks in Arcade mode before hitting more events.

    Just picked it up, doing the 2.30 update first and then going to get some laps under my belt. Wife is in Mexico right now so it's a boys night in with me and my son. We'll see who gets the fastest lap times...

    Apparently 'pro' physics mode makes things far more realistic. There are also some neat different audio modes based on you speaker setup.

    Online mode has odd ghost issues, maybe lag related, where you can drive through other cars sometimes.

    I think it's the "odd movement" rule where someone makes a sudden unexpected move and the car becomes transparent. Online isn't much fun, unless you get some laps there in the pro modes. Class C, it's 2 laps and full of wrecks. Everytime I get the lead, someone gets a draft and tries to pass and even when I take the corner carefully and try to avoid them, they manage to push me off the road. Not realistic at all but that's what you get in a game...

    Man I suck, I can't finish C class. I can't remember the name of the track but it;s one where only Suzuki and Dahaitsu is eligible. I can't seem to get a trophy in this one.
