    I love how it states "You are close to being outbid".... uh, whatever $102<$802 LOL!

    Enjoy those... luckily I came back and read the rest of the posts, I was going to start throwing money at them.... but not that much.

    I am thinking about bidding hard on the 1.2TL's if the guy will take them to a freight company that will pallet them up and bring them straight here.

    If you're not serious about the 3.1TL's, I may go after em'.... they're Fairly close by..

    Sure it will. Why do you want those when you already have the 2.1's? Weird... Yeah well if the person hasn't cleaned them 1 time in 19 years then well good luck with that. I'll hold out for something in better shape that maybe some old lady previously owned AHAHAHAHA! I just rebuilt my SDA-2b's and don't have any more money!! If I did I'd buy a tooob pre-amp with optical DAC hybrid. I don't even know why I bothered starting this thread...

    I'm open for donations if you have too many I'd be happy to store your old 2.1tl's of course after watching your video you probably wore them out. No wonder you go through polk speakers every other month! LoL

    Could be taken as borderline disrespectful, and it's 1.2TL.

If I could have more than 1 set of polk speakers I WOULD TOO! What are you his minime or something. He don't care he has all the SDA's and I don't have anything except maybe this yellow phone book is all I need. LoL

    I won them and they are all mine. I didnt want to pay that much, but I didnt want to be without SDA`s even more (just sold my srs 2.3`s to bsufbfan). They turned out to be in very very good condition. The sda soundstage is not as pronounced as any other sda`s I have owned (sda crs 1st gen, sda 1 1st gen, sda 2b, srs 2, srs 2.3). Now I run the 3.1`s as mains and the 2b`s as surround B off my denon 3805. I ran an onkyo m504 to all of these speakers with fine results (it outperformed my buddies adcom 5500 head to head bi-amped to his 1.2tl`s). I am between amps right now so I must reserve judgement on the 3.1`s (seem boomy with the denon).

    Overall, the most impressive sda`s I have experienced have been the sda 1`s (excluding 1.2tls). Lots of sda, spl, and clarity. Believe it or not these had the silver sl1000`s and a gold metal plaque (Matthew Polk signature) where some of these models have holes; right between the woofers and tweeters. I sold to a friend so I still keep an eye on them.

    Up close is an even better reason to go with a single tweeter. I am not a huge sine wave freak, but if a single frequency is played from multiple tweeter arrays then you walk around your room you will know what I mean about multiple tweeter arrays sucking at near field listening positions. Try this with different frequencies with dome tweeter arrays, and you will certainly see where I am coming from. They go from ear piercing to nearly totally canceled out depending on listening position.

    Good to see you posting on the site Justin. After looking at the list of Polk's that you have owned, you definitely belong around here!

    I will do the 2.3's right. The tweeter upgrade was a huge step in the right direction, and I am now knee deep in the crossover upgrade.

    You'll have to post your thoughts on the 3.1's after you get the Aragon 8008 hooked up. :eek:

    Its been years since I`ve been to this forum. I have been inspired by the plans you made (bsufbfan Mike) for the 2.3s. And the amount of info available here now is just amazing. You guys have been busy. I MUST do the upgrade to these 3.1s, it is not an option. I know I will have all the support I need here. Thanks in advance.

    No kidding, and he needs to put the crack pipe down before he takes the pictures next time. And the white rings around some of the dust covers is kind of concerning....
