Wow, man, that really does make for a crappy day. Really sorry to hear about your loss, Frank.

Good thinking about taking that torch out of the van! Good thing the fire wasn't big enough (or allowed to continue long enough) to make it that far back, though.

Don't know how it'll all get resolved, but just hang in there and it will get worked out.

If there's anything anyone can do...don't hesitate to say the word. I know I and a bunch of others on here would be willing to help in any way possible!

At least this means you'll get some more seat time in the trail rig! ;):p

Sorry for the bad luck there Frank.I might be so inclined to tow it to the nearest bone yard, have them put it in the crusher, then report it stolen. But seems like you just need a cheapo, dependable van for your buisness, check some of your local municipalities as they sell/auction off their older vehicles pretty cheap.

Well, how recent was that? I wasn't thinking it was that recent. Well, that really puts a hurt on things. How long before it should be ready to hit the streets?

Do you have comprehensive coverage on the van? Fire would be covered by comp, not collision. I carry $0 deductable comp on all my vehicles. Only runs about $80/yr.

That sucks. I'm glad you remembered the oxygen/acetylene.

I've driven by a car on fire before. I was 5 lanes over to the left with the windows up and I could feel the emmense heat. Your warning to keep away is right on.

Thought I was having a bad week but it pales against your one day. If you need anything, ride, tow, etc give me a call
