    I like the holographic image thing.

    If they get that worked out, I'll rig up a holograhpic image of myself and never have to go to work again.

    Make it respond to all inquiries with a 'Yes, Boss !", "Right away, Boss !", and "Gosh, that's the best idea I've ever heard of, Boss !" and even if someone notices the "anomaly", ..... nobody will care.

    The current internet backbone IS on fiber. There are two things holding it back. The turn up of new and improved IP standards, and more bandwidth.
    Both require cash. We all want more bandwidth, but are unwilling to pay
    more. That's what's behind the "pay by bandwidth usage" movemet.
    The bandwidth hogs won't pay their share. Faster is easy. Cheap isn't

    BAH! CERN has been saying "The Grid" would be replacing the Internet since '99. I'll believe it when I see it.

    Yeah, and they're saying they can find the Higg's boson subatomic "God" particles. I'll believe that when I see them too! ;)
