    Those Bose will be a wonderful replacement for the Von Schweikert's. Go ahead and send those VS's to me home-skillet, you're done. :D

    Paper can sound really good if it is built right. Paper tweeters can even go ultrasonic if they are made right.

    Bose tweeters roll off well before 20khz, but it's going to sound warm and fuzzy, but not accurate. Hook them up with a low end 70's receiver and you have yourself a garage rock-out system, but I can't see them being more than that.
