the bass response on these is well Amazing, four 12" woofers per speaker, they go subsonic, add that to the space and detail the ribbons deliver and you end up with a speaker that might be your last. The placement of instruments across the stage is awesome as well as the depth, for 895.00 its a true no brainer.

    RT1
The Amazing Silvers use THREE x 12" woofs, not 4.

    Another Johnny-come-lately know-it-all.

I've had a pair of Platinum Mk.IV's for almost 20 years now. Why don't you tell me all about them?

I'm decreasing these to 800.00 for the pair. Gas being what it is,and I need to get them outta here to make room for the platinums that I picked up yesterday. Thats 95.00, plus gas LESS than I paid. If anyone is sitting on the fence, this should help. Thanks--george

Not fair. I had three dream speakers when I was growing up, and these are one of the 3:mad: Please raise the price as I will be traveling through GA in a couple weeks:(
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

I would love to, but next to no income, and 2 kids I can't. When things straighten up I will be looking for some. Knowing where they are coming from, and the price is the real kicker. Just isn't happening for now.

Engtaz.....great purchase. I have a set of Platinums and their sound is breathtaking! Very open. I was worried about placement and the only place I had for them was upstairs in the loft. My A-framed sloped ceiling as well as placing the backs of the speakers toward the railing seems to have worked out perfectly......I guess I lucked out but this placement allowed them to be away from the side walls and gave them 30 feet of open space behind them. Made them sound beautiful...lots of breathing space!! I power mine with a Lightstar Reference 2.0 amp. ENJOY!!!
