    Wow. That's the first time I've ever read a very unflattering review of an audio component. Some guy named Russ Gates wrote it. Hmmm...where have I heard that name before???

    Yes I am there, a StereoMojo staff reviewer. I haven't done a lot so far, but there are several reviews in queue. I'll have a review up soon of the Gini LS 3/5a clones with matching bass stands. Other than that, the Met review, and the Role Audio Kayak are my only published works so far.

    One of the things 'we' do at SM is give honest, real reviews, with real gear, in real listening rooms. By real, I mean gear that people might actually own, and listening rooms much like any other audio enthusiast might have.

    Real world gear and real world listening rooms is where the various e-zines have a significant advantage over TAS and Stereophile.

    Most important is that with the incredible variety of publications and forums, this is a terrific time to be involved with audio.
