HK AVR510 ground loop humming

Hi all,
I know this has been discussed before, but I tried all previous suggestions, and nada...
Hooked up Harman Kardon AVR510 in place of my DA333ES, and getting 60Hz low-volume hum from my channels (well, from center and surrounds, since I am driving mains with a separate amp).
I tried disconnecting inputs one at a time - no difference. Disconnected coax cable from cable box - no difference too .
HK has a 2-prong plug. I am using cheaper Dynex surge suppressor (http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10060269&catid=20195), but no power conditioner.
Sony also has a 2-prong plug (although, much thicker power cable), and it never hummed.
I did try plugging the unit into separate power outlet (although that outlet is within 3-4 feet of the main one, so they may be (and probably are) on the same line) - no change.
Suggestions?

Disconnect everything from the receiver but the speakers.Unplug the amp section to the 1000p's. Reconnect things one cable at a time to see if a cable might be causing it.Last, plug in the amps on the 1000p's.Find it odd you don't have a 3 prong power cord. You can get a cheap adapter at your local hardware store. Is this a dedicated line? Anything else on that line that draws alot of power?HT SYSTEM-

With the help of the good folks here, I just fixed a low level hum on my Adcom GFA 5500 by connecting the two negative speaker posts on the amp w/a strip of speaker wire. No kidding.
And it worked.
Check out this thread for much more & good luck!:
