    Great AVR. It uses 3 sharc processors, nichicon gold or super caps I forget which now. All high qualty parts that you typically find in much higher priced equipment. It retailed for $1500.00 which I think was a bargain for this unit and was the very last year as far as im concerned that sony made super high quality ES receivers. At $250.00 its absolutley a steal. Hell I might even buy it myself if its still here in a few days, even though I need it like I need a case of the clap.

    Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D
