I would set them to small, setting at large is asking quite a bit from the rt35i's

How about trying both settings, and use the one that *sounds* better to you.

FYI the onkyo 595 sends LFE out at 80 hz when set to large and 120hz per tech support.

you got a good sub, let it do the hard work and let the RT35 relax and handle the mid and high, I agree with Troy, set it to small, you probably can hear the different right away.

I would hope he tried both ways and found that small is the better choice.
gplracer,
all of us in here just give you things to think about. It's up 2 you what works in your system.Alot of us have owned or still own the rt35i's.I did and in home theater mode I liked them in small.Music mode I switched back and forth as they where rears at one time in my system, sometimes large worked. In the end Surround back was there duty along with Multiroom music.Small worked.Does it for you?Dan

LOL! I tried it both ways and to me it sounded better on small than large. I did not try it for an extended amount of time on large though. The difference did not seem that great. I just thought I would get opinions because there might have been something I was not considering. Thanks!!!
