Small bookshelves. These sport a .75" tweet and a 6.5" driver. Classic acoustic suspension design. This is the speaker that put Boston Acoustics on the map.

Overall, they are in great shape. The rear corners on each cabinet were damaged when they were shipped to me. Nothing major, IMO. The grill on one has a small pin hole, again, nothing major. Operationally, they are flawless.

I need to make some room in the magic closet so I'm offering these up for, 70 dollars, shipped in the continental US.

    It's Liv4fam.

I will open the bidding at .70 cents. (You pay for shipping)

Does that price include the gear, wire, boxes, manuals, and your apology for SELLING that stuff to someone.

I am going to assume you are trying to be *funny*, and not a troll on this one.

Do you have a better speaker perhaps, for $70 shipped? Just curious, if $70~ was someones budget for a certain application, perhaps these might work very well for them.

    Cheers,

Is there some design flaw with the A40, that I'm not aware of? I've owned 2 pair of A40's, A70's and A100's and think they are pretty swell speakers. Liv4fam, what is your experience with the Boston A-series?

I think 70 shipped is a very reasonable price, however, if someone made a reasonable offer I'd consider it. Again, the A40 is what 'made' Boston Acoustics. I'm not hard up to sell them but I'm trying to free up some space and thought it would be a good opportunity for someone to broaden their horizons.

I will also say that if a forum member purchases them and isn't satisfied with them, I will take them back and refund your money. Less shipping.

Dude, it's a whole bi-polar thing, the two are one, or some such. Steer clear, period. Jeck/Hyde, follow?
