2 channel tube amp suggestions

i'm thinking of looking into tube amps and am looking for a suggestion for a 2 channel tube amp to drive my Lsi25's. Any suggestions??

    I didn't know too much. But have you considered getting a tube dac or pre-amp to introduce the tubey sound?

    A tube amp driving the LSi25? Jeebus....

    I'm sure there amps out there that can do it, but it's probably going to cost you a good bit. I send getting a tube preamp and mating with a good solid state amp - gives you the best of both worlds with those speakers.

    While I do prefer an all tube sound with the right speakers, I don't think I could afford to do it with those beasts. They're not only 4 ohms, they're also not the most efficient speakers in the world...

    Any tube amp with a 4-ohm tap on the OPT should work just fine with a 4-ohm speaker.
    Transformers were, and are, outstanding impedance-matching devices. That's why McIntosh, e.g., still uses 'em, even on some of their (best) solid state equipment. OK, they use autoformers (i.e., with the primary and secondary windings directly than inductively coupled), but the concept's the same.

    As to how much power you'll need for those speakers to satisfy you... I couldn't guess.
