    once you hit 55 you can't go any higher, so you can choose prestige mode, where you get a specific star and must start everything all over again, **** guns **** everything. I hate it, which is why I'm not playing it often.

    I'm definitely going to now. I just got through playing through the Haze demo this morning and found it to be mostly enjoyable, especially after I figured out the weapon zoom mode so I could pick people off from a safer distance.

    I am getting better since I got the scope for my M16. I am still playing with the wireless remote though. Do they sell longer cord lengths for the Sixaxis controller?

    will do when I get home. First I'm going to try and see if I can change my PS name to something more easily remembered. I didn't want to make it so random but I just got pissed that my first 10 or so tries didn't work.

    I picked up COD4 during lunch. Seems pretty cool. I still suck at FPS though :(

    Single player on normal is pretty tough for me. It took me forever to get past the TV room.

    Do the bad guys respawn? Or does each area have only a certain number of guys that come out? It seems like for the TV room I couldn't get anywhere until I just pushed forward into the bad guys.

    The TV room was insanely difficult. And yes they will just respawn continuously until you move forward. I finished it on the most difficult level, but it took me about 3 hours to do it.

    I kept on sending my guys in the room while I stayed in the VCR room. It never worked, my guys would die, then the baddies would storm the VCR room. I learned to run/sprint down the hall way on the Right hand side, Sprint all the way down to the little room that is directly in front of you. Then direct your guys to lay down covering fire, while you pick the other ones off. Problem is, you either 1) get shot in the room, or 2) a random grenade is thrown in their before you can throw it back.

    BUT once i figured out to go to that room first it took me like three tries to get past it. Otherwise I was wondering around trying to noob tube the enemies, while I was taking a rocket launcher up the ****.

    I got my first first-place finish online this week. I typically get slaughtered at this game, but have been doing pretty good lately. Using an M60 with a red-dot scope, I had 18 kills and six deaths in Free-for-all. This is a damn fun game online.

    I got a first place finish once too. It's not easy but I am getting better. I haven't had time to play in a couple of weeks though.

    I've only tried a mp a couple times but I was lucky if I even got one kill. I have the feeling that if I played enough to memorize maps I would do a little better but I don't think I'll invest the time. :(

    I got back into this game but the last couple days I just can't seem to get the ball rolling I end up with less than 10 kills per match. My game is just off. I remember getting a 17kill streak and 35 kills in a game, now I suck big donkey tail!

    Wingnut when you invite me you first have to back out of the room. Every time I get an invite from you it says the room is full. In order for us to play together you need to invite me before you even start a game.

    Got to say this is the game to own if you have a ps3 or 360. I have both platform and have the game for both system. There is one thing that I have to point out. XboX 360 charge you for their online service while Sony doesn't and there is a big difference. The XboX never lags like the Ps3. There is always 3 or more bar of signal, while the PS3 is up and down. My game tag for ps3 is bc_123 and for the 360 is ghost_bc123.

    OK. I apparently suck at this game as well. I'm playing Mercenary Deathmatch and am getting my **** kicked. I can't hit anybody before they shoot me. I now have the challanges active and am trying to use my M16 so that I get enough kills for a scope but I can't aim. Is there a secret to aiming that I'm not getting, or is it just that much faster and easier to aim with the scopes?

    Can you tap the aim button to lock onto people in the online play like you can in the gameplay? I'm getting frustrated by my suckiness.

    No, doesn't allow that for online play.

    All I can say is it took me forever to go from being REALLY bad, to only being mostly bad. :p It also depends alot on who you are playing. I'm not sure how the network matches players, but sometimes I'm playing people I know are way out of my league. And then other times I'm playing people who actually make me look decent.

    The hardest part is just learning the maps. Once you've done that, it just a matter of whether or not your reflexes are fast enough. I find that using the big guns (RPD, or SAW) is better for me since I'm not that fast so they don't really slow me down, and they are powerful so perfect aiming isn't quite as important.

    I got my highest amount of kills the other day 34 with 2 air strikes and one chopper with a 15 kill streak, I toasted everyone that day...I'm using the MP5 with red dot along with 3frags, better aim and somekind of better bullet damage.
