Since the other COD4 thread is full of xbox junkies, I figured it would be nice to have one place where all Polkies who play COD4 on the PS3 could give their user name, add comments, talk trash about how good we're doing, etc.

Slocookin and I have jammed a couple of times, but I feel like the gimp since I don't have a mic.

Who else is playing COD4 on the PS3? Let's get a Polk group together and destroy some people!

    I got COD4 for ps3, I'm not a big fan of xbox...

    If I can get my lag time...connection issue worked out I could play more. My Bluetooth headset is causing major problems even though I am NAT 2. I have changed ports, DMZ, Static IP and I am still having issues when I use my headset. Sometime it works great other times I have to turn it off!

    No Gimp jafail...You are really good. I get bad lag...like shooting someone in the head with my M16 and I will die because my connection is slowed and they are shooting ME! Or I will sprint through an opening and check a corner and get shot from there point of view I am still in the opening!

    Not on the PS# version much due to the amount of time spent on the 360.

    Slocookin, man I feel your pain on the whole ps3 issue. Getting to NAT 2 is a real PITA, and it really should not be that difficult to obtain. Only other thing I could say about LAG issues, is make sure you have no UPLOADS or DOWNLOADS going....limewire...etc..

    Also sometimes turning off all computers will help the issues also. But as I have done, I am sure you have scoured the internet on how to fix this issue.

    like the game, but............. where are my legs? I'm sitting in a car, I can look around up down but I have not legs. In a chopper again I can look around but I have no legs, kinda dumb they forgot to give us legs....

    I will be playing tonight. I played for the first time last night online and im addicted!!! I stayed up way to late playing in free for alls.. I just bought the game 2 weeks ago and still am learning and getting better. Finally broke the top three finish though by the end of my session.

    Good for you man. It's all about getting used to the maps...hiding places, etc....

    My suggestion is that while now you feel you can hold your own of FreeForAll, start playing some domination or ground war. That is where all the points, and the much needed gaming experience comes from. Ground War plays both Domination and Team Death Match.

    No prb, I was having that issue as well until I removed the PS3 from my cabinet, now I have never been booted.

    In the area where there is an empty swimming pool, stay on the deck, go to the deep end then walk off, yes you get hurt but you get 150 pts. Then there is another one where there is a well in the middle of the screen, if you jump into the well you get 250 pts...

    Anyone else have any ways og getting good easy points ?

    The new update is pretty sweet. I'm happy to get my P90 back. lvl 40 was hard to get too a second time...
    I was testing the new patch with willow yesterday and I noticed there’s less lag then usual. If you get hit you die right away.

    Not sure what's going on with me, but I have been sucking big time. I was getting above 13 kills per game, now I'm lucky if I reach 10...I'm just not finding the right weapon/groove :(

    I had my first online experience with the PS3 last night and played this game. It was a lot of fun, but I sucked. I did get one three-kill streak, but got killed before I could call in air support. My tag is the same as here: wodom1

    thinking about getting this game, even though I also suck at FPS. I guess this is as good a game as any to try and get better at them though.

    Get it it's fun. I have no idea how the game is though as I have only been playing online (which may explain why I suck!:D)


    For the experts: I am gathering that the wireless controller gives me a bit of a disadvantage? I do better wired but the cord length is too short.

    Wingnut, you should really play the campaign missions, they are tons of fun and the story really draws you in, it did for me anyway. Sit down and play some in your free time, I'm sure you will enjoy it.
