My psw50 is making bad vibration/scratchy noise and is not sounding appropriate. Do I have a blown subwoofer? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

That is a pretty good indication of a blown woofer. Call Polk at 1-800-377-7655 to see what they might be able to do.
