Yes,
I saw the new Lsi ad in DVD ETC,December 2002 vol1. no.4 issue.Now thats what I'm talking about.It's straight to the point, no Matt in the pic,huge pic of the lsi7's and a nice size of the Lsi15's..........stunning.Simply..........:D

    I beat my scanner with a hammer,it pissed me off,it copies everything in red.So it went out the window.

    But pick up the mag........DVD ETC.........dec 2002 issue........allday.On the cover is Back to the future,a Onkyo receiver,a neo pronto,mirage omisats,and DR Evil...........

    I think this ad is pretty lame. It looks the same as every other ad. It's just a beauty photo of the LSi, nothing really attention-getting or great about it at all. It's got no zing.

    You know, generally, my command of the engrish language is passable but there are just some words that I constantly misspell or misuse. OK, my spelling plain sucks.

    Some of them are
    ad / add
    thier/their (I have no idea which is correct. the whole 'i' before 'e' thing baffles me)
    chord / cord

    etc. etc.

    It does somewhat bother me when people don't even attempt to use decent English, though.

    Anyways Micah I tooks like we feel alittle different about the 2 addds.You like the first one and I like the 2nd one.Cool........what you don't understand is the warm feeling when a beautiful colored pic of beautiful speakers are shown.....o man...........
    Think of it this way..........if you had your choice of the same ads with girls instead of speakers which one would you choose?would you want to read about them or look at them?????

    I dunno, I kinda see it Micah's way though. Flip through Stereophile and EVERY ad is a glamour shot of whatever piece of equipment. After one or two, I pay them no attention. An ad with words? That's different, that catches my attention.

    Picture Books are good, But I agree wit Micah -- I got like 500000000000 crutchfield catalouges....and like all the adds of speakers and stuff are just nice shots of electronics and speakers....real boreing catches me no attention....dont even bother reading it...i rather read manuals to electronics in Chinese than read some articles...

    How do you spell advertisement? So ad is ad. How do you spell addition? So add is add.

    Their? Just remember to spell 'the' first. Or.. i before e EXCEPT after c... e before i when sounded like a... THAYer... their.

    Chord is musical... cord is rope.

    One that drives me bonkers on this form is the use of "your" as the contraction for "you are"... as in "your a bad speller." Also, there for their or they're....

    also... given that this is an audio forum.. it is recEIver.. not reciever... i before e .. EXCEPT after c...
