Question about my DSW Pro 600

I don't remember if I have asked this question elsewhere...but I figured I might as well ask it here.
I am using a Digital Coaxial cable (the kind you find for dvd players and such) to connect the LFE spot on my sub to the Sub port on my Onkyo 605 receiver.
Is that ok?
Is it any better or worse than using a regular RCA cable?
Also...my sub has the 2 red/white plugs, which I understand are RCA.
Now, they also have the 3 yellow/red/white plugs too...am I supposed to plug in a regular A/V rca plug into it? With the yellow plug? And if so...what do I do if my receiver only has the 1 plug for the sub?

Using your sub out from the receiver to the LFE input of your sub is fine. That's all you need to get started. However there are other methods of connection but use what best fits your situation.
Be sure to adjust your receiver speaker settings to what sounds best to blend with your other components. Play around with placement and the Room optimization settings. Enjoy that is a very nice sub.....
