    50-50 for me. Although I purchased all my audio used and video new. If you took retail costs into play, it would be closer to 70% audio 30% video.

    At the moment 100% audio. I kinda of lost interest in the video or home theater side of things. For now........ I started upgrading things in the 2 channel arena and have find it to be most enjoyable. Its going to be 2 channel audio for a quite a while.

    I have 2 complete systems..

    I found that it`s easier that way..

    I listen to more music, than watching movies (at the moment)...

    Get a 5ch amp . a pre/pro, a dvd player, sub and a full set of speaks for the living room / video room...

    Then build a dedicated 2 ch rig in another room

    I don't keep track. I only know what is in my pile of crap and how much it's worth. Keeping score like that only serves for an ego boost and to wage endless genitalia comparisons on the internet that serve no purpose but to piss other people off and just create general bad feelings due to a perception of needless competition. Personally, I prefer to piss people off by opening my mouth and speaking my mind. It's much more fun that way! :D

    I never asked "how much did you spend on your gear." In fact, I didn't mean for it to turn out that way. This thread was just about ratios, as in 30% video, 70% audio...
