Every year it's the same thing!!

I sneak around grabbing some of this, sneak a few bites of that, sit down and eat half my body weight in turkey, ham, potatoes, cranberries, vegatables, rolls, gravy, salad and of course a glass of wine or 4.

Next, desert...HOMEMADE PUMPKIN PIE & WHIPPED CREAM!!!!

Then I sit around rubbing my poor aching gut and watch football and vow never to eat like that again! A couple hours later I'm raiding the fridge and whiping up a Dagwood Style Turkey Sandwich!

Geez I love the Holidays.

Happy Thanksgiving All!!!

I've got nothing to add to that. Nail on the head.

I'm so full I can't even drink beer.

    Cheers,

Nothing really to add here, except that I'm going down to enjoy a 10:30 pm piece of pumpkin pie. Had a piece around 8:00 pm also. I'll save the other half for tomorrow!
    No excuses!

    Possible mistaken Thankgiving quotes:

"I'm in the mood for some dark meat"

"Just spread the legs and stuff it in"

I't ready when the little red button pops out"

"Oh yeah, I love breast meat!"

"Put lots of whip cream all over it!"

    "I'm ready for seconds!"

"Please, no more! I've had enough!"

    "It's so juicy and moist!"
    No excuses!

Dumb question but we Canadians had our Thankgiving turkey way back in mid-October. Enough time has passed that i'm ready for another go-around of turkey for Christmas time. So question is, Thanksgiving dinner and Xmas dinner- isn't that a lot of turkey to eat in less then a month?

Eating sliced turkey breast (skin on, smoked) right now. Straight out the fridge, washing it down with MHL.
