One of my customer receiver a pair or RTI A9 from purolator and they were damaged. Wood chips, lower air port loose. The box were in bad shape. He also receive another one for exchange, same thing, front wood surface damage. 2 out of 3 were seriously damaged.
I advise anybody to not order the A9 by purolator or any other courrier service out of trust..
This box is big and needs 2 people to lift.
I dont know what to do with my customer....any idea!?
I work for future shop in canada. The A9 is not store stock. Any plans to enter the A9 on the floor polk?

Hello,
Telephone our Canadian manager, Walter Moser, at 1-905-457-0164 I'm sure he can be of help.
Regards, Ken -
The customer reached someone named John.. in Montreal that said it will ship new speakers to the customer.
This man ( john) said he will contact the store and arrange everything. He talked about a 200$ rebate too...
I'm still waiting for his call. I know Walter moser and I also have his phone number because he's reponsible for the Staff purchase program at future shop.
do you often have problem like this with the shipment of the RTI A9 ?? -
Shipping big speakers is always a risk. I have dealt with Walter many times and as I am sure you know he will take care of things. Great person BTW to all you top Polk Officials.Michael

I concur, big speakers are tricky to ship but I think Polk could pay some more attention to the overall packaging of larger loudspeakers.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I have never purchased large speakers from Polk but found the packaging on the entire LSi series very good. Perhaps as you say the packaging for the larger ones requires additional insight.Michael

When I sold and shipped my LSis I added a second box and tons of extra foam paneling inside. Polk definitely could use a new packaging engineer.

this shipping is not directrly polk fault ! It's purolator fault because they dont handle with care.
The customer said to me that the guy from purolator does not care about the boxed speakers.
The purolator guy aggressively entered the house of my customer and my customer said to take care but puro guy said: do you want them in or out ?... discusting..
