Polk Cobra Cable

What surprised me about the November Stereophile (besides the
Polk Audio ad), was the list of top 100 audio products since 1962.
At number 100:
> "Polk Cobra Cable loudspeaker cable (reviewed in 1978)--
> Highly capacitive, this distinctive-looking Japanese-sourced
> cable... blazed a trail followed by... Monster, then by
> countless others."
Anyone know if this Polk was in any way connected with the
Polk Audio we know of today?
I've never heard of Polk cable, and I've been following Polk
since the early 80's.

Yeah, search on the topic, there was a pretty extensive discussion on it.

My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
It was killing cheap solid state amps. Bad press.
