Purchased an RT3000P 4 piece speaker set new a good while back ( 5 year warranty way over ) ....one of the subs volume control became gritty ...while moving left to right sub went silent

Popped out amp and its not a fuse issue....Would like to send the amp and volume switch in to Polk to get this back to factory functioning . Help me Mr Wizard Kenneth :) Will polk even look at a nonfunctioning sub amp/volume control out of warranty ? Thanks in advance for your time

P.S. Speakers functioning fine ( Ohm out fine ...electrically fine...physically fine )

    Hello,
Absolutely, no problem. Just send the amplifier and logo pod to Polk Audio, 2550 Britannia Blvd., Suite A, San Diego, CA. 92154. Please include a short note giving us your name, address and a daytime telephone number. They'll be happy to check it out for you.
    Take care, Ken

Try to clean out the volume pot with some contact cleaner. If that does not work, see if Polk still has those parts in stock.

It's not very common but they do go bad occasionally. I think you can still buy the volume control potentiometers from Polk. At least you could a couple years ago.

I had a CS1000p with a bad one that I replaced. It uses the same part # as the RT3000p subs do. I bought three of them to have as spares and still have two left. Send me a PM if Polk is out of them or you need one. I will give you a good deal. It includes the cable, connector and everything so it is basically plug & play. Real easy to swap out.

    NOS never used parts:
