SOLD

Description:
This product will change the way you listen to music, I know it did for me. This devices pulls music from your PC via internet radio and/or your own harddrive. The way most use it is to rip your cds to your pcs using a lossless format and then play these back over your squeezebox. With this device you can have access to thousands of songs at the press of a button.

Once you have the cds in your pc you can select them by artist, genre, year, or by the same file structure you have in your pc. You can have multiple SB3s and sync them so you have the same songs playing through out the house. You can use this unit with a wireless network or wired. It can be used through the analog outs our can be used as a transport w/digital volume control.

It is in good condition but has one nick. You can see it in the pics, it is right near the screen on the right side. The little scratchy marks only come up when you take pictures of them or direct sunlight. I'm not sure what causes them but all of my SB3s have them (I have 4 currently).

Terms:
This will be double boxed and shipped insured. This comes with the unit, remote, original box, and power supply. The manual and software are both online. Accepting Paypal, money order, or personal check. I will only sell to a buyer with verifiable good feedback. I have a feedback on Audiogon, Club Polk, Head-Fi, and Ebay. For sale in the US only.

I also want to play music off the internet (pandora.com). Can this act as a type of transport?

Looks like it, according to Pandora's Site. It seems that Pandora and Slimdevices formed some sort of partnership, I'm going to have to look into Pandora now.

daniel_paul has first right of refusal, then hoosier21.

Questions of course. How easy is it to navigate all your music collection via just the screen on the SB3? Does it use the ID tags? I feel like i might be frustrating... these should have some kinda video output. Just looking for some info. Thanks.

I find it quite easy to use. You select your music folder and then can navigate by artist, by genre, by year, or I like to navigate using the file directories. It looks something like this:

Music Folder/Band Name/CD Name/Song.flac. So I can choose a band and hit play and it plays all their songs, pick a cd and hit play to play the cd, or select individual songs. The display can be set to small medium or large depending on how far you sit.

Yes it uses Id tags. I personally use EAC to rip my cds so it pulls the song info automatically, then my SB3 reads the tags for each song.

    Any other ?s feel free.

Hah! Let us know if Gaara responds, he's been MIA for a while.
Good music, a good source, and good power can make SDA's sing. Tubes make them dance.

Oh yeah. I posted in the wrong thread. You linked to this old thread in your recent post and I must have had two windows open. Disregard.
