    I'd use that 2K for a great sounding 2ch pre amp. which one, i don't know.

    I'd probably sell my VPI HW-19 MkIV table (any takers? ;)) and move in to a Scout Master and a step up transformer.

    At this point, I'm feeling Conrad Johnson naked. I'd like a Premier 10 pre and possibly a premier 11A or premier 12 monos. Just to HAVE. Not that they would 'replace' my Melos/Heaths but just to have.

    I'd go for a Cary Cinema 5 to bi-amp my SRS's with. I'd have to throw in a little of my own cash to get one used.

    At my Polkie price, you could enjoy it in your system until you snag a Premier 10. The CJ will fetch more than what you paid for it. Food for thought.

    I'm looking to add a Martin Logan Depth sub, for movies and for experiment with 2ch. That's $1K used. I'd also like a Panny 42" plasma so I can free up some space used by my huge 34" HD CRT - that's at least another $1K for the non-1080p version. Then perhaps I can put my Tannoy TDC center (a beautiful but unwieldy 80lbs, with three 8" drivers) on the stand the old TV was on.

    I'm totally happy with my turntable, headphones, and tube preamps/headphone amps. Pretty happy with my tube amp & speaks. Lost interest in cables/power conditioning/tube rolling/tweaks (that crap was nickel and dime-ing me to death), so no immediate upgrade interests there.

    I'm already in the works for new speakers for the 2 channel, so I'd want to add a Cambridge Audio 840C and replace my ICs, PCs, and SCs as well.

    I'd probably spend half on a cartridge upgrade. Something that would come closer to using the full potential of my phono pre.

    With the other half I would probably snag a set of Von Schweikert VR-1's just to try them out.

    I'd look for a pair of used Tannoy D900's or DMT15's and hot rod the crossovers.

    Or spend $1200 on the room and $800 on the new Pure AV UPS I've been eying.

    Maybe the Emotiva amp and pre-amp. Can do that for under 2K. It looks really sweet too.

    I honesty dont know what I would do with 2 grand, I dig my 2 channel so much right now. maybe get a pre that can have as much detail as my passive TVC Promitheus, but with a little more gain.

    I'd like to try a Melos pre (like Troy has) sometime down the road, I liked that thing at Polkfest

    if I put it in the theater, I would probably put it toward a earthquake cinenova amp, just so I dont have so many amps in the system (save room) and keep the LSi's seriously powered to my liking
