    The main drawback of using the speaker level inputs is that you've got speaker wire running all over the place. You're also dealing with extra connections in the signal path. Also, it gets a little pricey if you're using expensive wire.

    Actually, it would turn out good as my A/V rack is far away from the speakers (like you see in many of the custom-installed HT's) and that I'd only have to run one set of wires to the sub and then plug the speakers into that. Eliminating the RCA cable.
