My imported Dual Shock 3 arrived today -- feels great and a lot more solid / well built. Recommended! ($63 to import though).

Also the rumble is much stronger than in the Dual Shock 2.

I'll wait, but I'm looking forward to it. Any games support it yet (for the PS3)?

Hopefully Sony starts packaging these controllers with the console itself. I'm surprised how long it took them to bring rumble back.

All new games released after the 1.3 update support it I think, and many others like Resistance have been patched to include rumble.

I have been to addicted to PixelJunk monsters to try anything else (and that game supports it).

Burnout Paradise + Folklore both work great as well (just tried those).

Thats beat. I just picked up a 2nd controler today for 50 bucks. I should have waited. Then again how can you play 2 players with one controler.... damn why can't companies just come out with whats needed....

Well, at the time, Sony was knee deep into a lawsuit with Immersion. Instead of trying to resolve the suit or work out a temporary agreement to include rumble, Sony stated that rumble was "last generation technology".... after taking the hint they are now finally incorporating it (especially since the suit is over and Sony lost it).

Well, Sony lost it along time ago. They just finally decided to pay for Immersion's technology in future products... rather annoying.
