I'm in the same position as you as far as living in an apartment.

How are those FXiA4's working out for you? I just ordered a pair for myself.

Since I'm going to have to use stands for my surrounds (FXiA4's), anyone know the ideal hight for the speakers to sit?

I think the recommended height should be 6-7 feet (I just followed the learning's guide from polkaudio.com) The speakers were easy to mount

The sound is awesome. However, I do realize how when other polkster tell me it is important to have timber matching speakers. I do have timber matching in the front (LSI15/LSIC). But I do not in the sourround and rear. In some movies (like 310 to uma, Ratioule, and War). The sourround / ambiance sounds is almost always on. Because of this, I notice that they the sounds are brighter versus the front / center. With regards to the rear, they were not really noticed any of my movies (watching 7.1 pcm movies). But because I only paid 150 dollars for the rears (at frys). I figure I'd keep it.

But if I had more money (I would defintely go with LFIfX + amp) for the sourround. For now, this will do :)

Do you find any variance with the sound in the right speaker. I was told not to have my 25's not that close to the wall.
