I am posting this here since I know most of the good peeps read this forum all the time.
Where is the best place to buy some real nice Berkline theater seats? I want to make sure I have a loveseat plus another seat with power recline, but want a terrific price if I can find it.

This may be of no help, but Leather Sofa Company makes custom theater seating...not sure about the terrific price, but maybe worth a look.
I haven't bought theater seating from them, but I did buy a sofa, loveseat, and recliner.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -
These guys aren't local to Dallas, but have always had pretty decent prices.
When traveling for work, I drop in here just to browse around and see what they have before going to Cabela's for lunch and more wandering around.

Is that a good price or the going rate for these?Without music to decorate it, time is just a bunch of boring production deadlines or dates by which bills must be paid. ..... Frank Zappa -
Well my automatic berkline just died.. I have four seats 2 manual recline and a love seat that is automatic (i bought that for hooking up with the ladies since the two seats with the huge armchairs in the middle prohibited a smooth transition...) :-) anyway... the one wont recline and now I have to get a furniture repair person, plus the toggle buttons stick. These are only 3 years old...I am a little pissed... I use mainly the solo manual recliner, so the love seat has had little use...(unfortunately) no way it should have died... just my 2 cents.Rti10 front, csi5, Rti6 surrounds, PSW505, B&K200.7s2, Onkyo705.

I shopped all of Las Vegas for theatre seating. I didn't like LazyBoy (sorry Mantis) although I do have a wonderful (and expensive) LazyBoy recliner in another room. Other stores were incredibly cheep build quality, fake leather, outragously expensive, or a combination of the three.
I narrowed it down to 2 stores: Thomasville and Creative Leather (headquartered in AZ).
I went with Creative Leather, mostly because the price was a little better, the design was more intuitive, and the chair style was a bit more modern. Since then, we've thoroughly enjoyed our seats and they get more praise than the Home Theatre. Set me back $5k ($1k per chair), but I'd do it all over again if I had to. It bears noting however that due to our difficult home market and economy in Las Vegas, Creative Leather closed its only store here. They still operate in its headquarters in Arizona.Do you hear that buzzing noise?

my local costco has black leather BERKLINE power recliners. 3 to a set for under $1600. they are very comfortable and give mine a run for their money.

Thanks all any more suggestions are welcome. I looked at those Costco ones and what a great deal. The only problem is there is no loveseat option so I can't go with that one.My Main Gear

I am still on the hunt for some new seating. I checked out Lazy Boy and just couldn't find anything that was perfect. Although I must say I have plenty of Lazy Boy furniture around here.
I have been talking to these guys and am considering these Berklines in black with the motorized headrest and footrest. It prices out to $3196.00 delivered for a loveseat plus one in the top of the grade leather. I bet I can get another 5 points if I keep waiting.
