Sad news from a old friend

...Jim 'Muddy' Rivers as Uncle Charlie used to call him. Fmtunerinfo is the website - his baby, a fellow audiophile, and audio junkie - is going under the knife tomorrow - I had no warning, just a simple response to an email seeing if he still had some 845 monoblocks. I got the reply tonight, and I am saddened beyond words.

I can't stress enough what hifi means to this man, and what he brings to the audio table, and taught me along the way - Please put him in your thoughts, and if you can dig on some FM tonight, tommorrow, whenever you can.

Jim, I wish you the best on a speedy recovery with tears rolling down my face. I can't imagine a world without you.

    Word on the street is that you can use Jim as a repeater for Ham radio. That's how hardcore he is ****. RESPECT.
